Collection: Wyeth Eyes

While reviewing some photos from a recent trip to Michigan City, Indiana (mostly rural shots of farmland that seemed to stretch on like endless exhales), I wondered: how would these photos change if I’d shot them through the eyes of Andrew Wyeth? So I worked for the next several days, trying to replicate a Wyeth-esque palette, one that would paint the quiet serenity and solitude of rural landscapes with the gentle, warm, almost translucent light and texture that seemed to flow from his spirit to his eye to his brush and finally to his canvas with such alacrity and transparent ease. I hope you enjoy my Wyeth Eyes Suite...
