Flatiron in B&W Triptych

Few NYC buildings are more iconic or more architecturally interesting than the Flatiron Building—a stunning example of late Beaux-Arts architecture—located at the triangular intersection of Fifth Avenue, Broadway, and E23rd Street, just across from Madison Square Park, original site of Madison Square Gardens.

My award-winning homage to this wonderful NYC landmark features three separate limited-edition fine art photographs captured over several days back in the late spring of 2012, and recently refinished in dramatic B&W with luxurious gray tones and deep rich blacks:

FLATIRON 1—Late morning from directly across E23rd Street at the SW corner of Madison Square Park, original site of Madison Square Gardens.

FLATIRON 2—Early morning first light looking up from the base of the eastern face on Broadway just south of E23rd.

FLATIRON 3—Sunset from the NW corner of Fifth Avenue & E23rd.
