Bridge to Jekyll Island
Bridge to Jekyll Island
Just a mile or two west and around the bend from the Atlantic Ocean, the majestic Sidney Lanier Bridge spans the Brunswick River and connects mainland Georgia to Jekyll Island -- secret birthplace of the Federal Reserve. Driving north with my wife, we were just about to exit the island when I looked to the northeast and caught this magnificent moment looming in the distance: I love how the late afternoon light gently illuminates the towers and suspension cables of this engineering masterpiece, set against a stormy sky of blues and whites and grays and coppers. Perfect symmetry and symbiotic balance in a spectacular centerpiece for your space.
Available as limited edition fine art paper prints, signed and numbered by the artist, or as limited edition wrapped canvas prints. Each print arrives with a corresponding Certificate of Authenticity.
